Made from 316 marine-grade stainless steel, it suits marine, offshore, food-grade and chemical environments where carbon steel would corrode.
Why choose 316 marine-grade stainless steel fittings?
316 stainless contains 2–3% molybdenum, giving superior resistance to chlorides, seawater and acids compared with carbon steel or plated fittings. This makes 316 the preferred grade for marine, offshore, food, pharmaceutical and chemical hydraulic systems. It is also non-magnetic and hygienic.

Are stainless steel hydraulic fittings suitable for marine and food-grade use?
Yes. 316 grade fittings are widely used in marine, offshore, food and beverage, pharmaceutical and chemical processing because they resist saltwater, washdown chemicals and acids and do not contaminate product.
Can I mix stainless steel and carbon steel hydraulic fittings?
It's not recommended. Joining dissimilar metals can trigger galvanic corrosion at the connection, weakening the joint over time. Keep the fitting, adaptor and hose-end materials consistent wherever possible.
